Welcome to my DJ section, I first got started with decks from eBay and an old Numark mixer back in 2006. At first the experience was mental, trying to cross fade and beat match were really challenging.

After a while I found that I could pick up on bass lines and so began the mix.

I got started by buying a stack of 12" vinyl from Paul Clark (former Escape resident) who introduced me to the world of Funky house, with floor filling tunes like Spanish Hustle (Full Intention records) and Love Generation by Bob Sinclair.

It was great to have some help to get started as it helped me to find tunes that were popular in the House scene.

By 2007 I had moved on and had 2 Numark turntables, a Numark Axis 7 CD coupled to a Behringer mixer with BPM counters. By the summer of 2007 I played at a party using an 1100 watt PA. I played for....

Having met Norman Cook through my Dad I became interested in remixing, wow that's tough! I managed to get a copy of Ableton Live to chop tunes about.

My latest move has been to get a Korg Koass Pad 3 special effects box
